Parkers can offer staff training places for Certified Accountants (ACCA), Tax Technicians (ATT) and Accounting Technicians (AAT/CAT). All professional and technical members of the firm's staff are required to continue their training either for a qualification or to meet Continuing Professional Education requirements to maintain the knowledge required to look after our clients' affairs. We subscribe to courses provided by CCH (Crawley), SESCA, SOSCA, SWAT, 2020 and the Brighton & Hove branches of the Chartered Accountants, Certified Accountants and Institute of Taxation.
The members of our support staff are important to us too and are not forgotten as far as training is concerned. We encourage them to continue to learn more at courses held both in-house and at local colleges.
Terms and Conditions
Normal working hours are 7¼ per day (36 ½ hours per week) and can be worked between 8am and 6pm. Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks per annum and our holiday year runs from April to March. There is a Group Personal Pension scheme available plus the required stakeholder pension provisions. There is a need for staff to work overtime during busy periods to meet clients' requirements and due to the increasing number and concentration of filing deadlines imposed by the Government, primarily the 31st January personal tax return deadline.
